limina (September 2012)
audio-visual installation
limina examines the constant fluctuation between open and self-reflexive systems; each system responds to itself, to other systems, and to the surrounding environment. Systems are pre-programmed to respond to sonic stimuli in a defined number of ways. The result is a multiplicity of emergent forms derived from bottom-up organisation: an example of how networks have the propensity to spontaneously form, evolve and produce new forms. The project files for limina are hosted at Bitbucket; they are distributed under a Creative Commons Licence.
